Yeah, bit of a difference, although Davis plays much fewer snaps than Carter. Their 4-man rotation DT rotation is very good, although I want to see who replaces Williams.

Be prepared to be called an Eagles fan for making a logical and perfect comment.Carter is 5 times better than Osa, don't care what the stats say, it to me is about the impact he has on the play(s)
And Ty Robinson from this year’s draft
Overall I would agree with this, but not the bolded part. OSA is the main cog in the middle of our defense, and the double team metrics support this. Carter is a much more well rounded player than OSA and I'm not trying to suggest otherwise, but this is exactly why its so frustrating if we go into another season with Mazi Smith starting next to him. Philly has done such a nice job in recent years of creating depth at the DT position. The Cowboys so far have failed to get OSA a partner who can take advantage of teams paying attention to him.you contribute to your team being great or team being bad.
and Carter is the main cog in the middle of their defense. demanding the double teams.
Osa is not the main cog in the middle of our defense.
its that simple. do I mean Osa is bad? no, most people get bent backwards because cowboys fans don't salivate over every single one of hte players on the team, I mean all you have to do is look at the threads on various players...its over the top.
Osa is a good player. he is not at the same level as Carter. no one is going to deny that, but people pull stats out of their rear end to make a case. ask 31 NFL GMs who would they take at DT. carter or osa and bet you 31 will say carter.
I'll just call them one right back, doesn't bother me. Sucks you can't have a different point of view about other things in the NFL without being called out of your nameBe prepared to be called an Eagles fan for making a logical and perfect comment.
This is interesting. Are we missing something? There is no way we were seeing the same dominance from Osa. Then again, maybe we are, but it's lost behind other defensive issues.
Yeah I guess it depends what narrative you want it to tell because among these fanbases? One game changes nothing. It took Eagles fans 8 years to admit Wentz sucked lol.I standby the last sentence I wrote.
Yes that guy brings absolutely nothing constructive to The forum.A couple of these guys have out lasted their welcome. Constant stupidity and asking for thoughts, they're worse than the likes leader.
All very good defensive lineman get grabbed and doubled all game. He’ll get paid. Not going to cry for him.I'd like to know how they determined this. Every time I see an Eagles game Carter is getting grabbed and doubled practically all game.
It’s a subjective stat, to be sure.I'd like to know how they determined this. Every time I see an Eagles game Carter is getting grabbed and doubled practically all game.
Normal game for himThat’s one game though….15 of 19 times.

Mean Streets - Guitar magnum opus.![]()
Now can you see why?![]()
Osa might shine more if the rest of the defense was solid,,, but no, Carter is up a level from Osa.Osa is a much better player than he gets credit for. I was a little skeptical of a 20 million per year contract, but when looking at other DTs he's paid outside of the top 10 so I think it's more than a fair value. Though Osa hasn't quite emerged as an elite DT, I think he's a very good player that can ascend higher if paired with the right dt next to him.

LOL actually about the sameNow list how many double and triple teams each draw to better the rest of the D-line.
