Osa on Defense changes

The new DC probably like Phillips Marinelli and maybe even Quinn . The Cowboys might have lucked into a guy who’s better as DC then as a HC .

McCarthy didn't run the defense, and Quinn was exceptional during his time here.
Quinn was ok.

I’d say that between taking the Falcons to the Super Bowl and the commanders
to the NFCCG, he was *unexceptional* while here

Coaching still matters in this league big time. Every day I am more and more disappointed in McCarthy and the staff. The more that comes out the worse it keeps sounding. This quote is just yet another example of McCarthy's failed time in Dallas.

This is typical speak that happens anytime there’s a change in coaching staff.

But yes. Dan Quinn who is one of the best defensive coaches in the league and Mike Zimmer a well respected DC for decades in the NFL were holding OSA back all
This time. lol

Is this the thread where we pretend Brian Schottenheimer is a better coach than Mike McCarthy?

And I love seeing our now 20 million a year DT talk about how he would have made plays if things were different.

Yes Schottenheimer is a better HC than McCarthy

And Dan Quinn Super Bowl champion DC is also not as good as Eberflus.

It couldn’t be OSA’s talent.

So far I’d say the Commanders/Eagles, Cowboys/Packers and second half of Pats/Falcons is the worst defenses you will see.

Same. It was just 2023 when I was a McCarthy supporter. But as time goes by, it seems he wasn't as good as I thought. He ran Moore out, then Quinn left for a HC job he probably should have gotten here.

Clearly they are going to drop Osa into coverage and he's referencing all the ints he would have had. Def. been underutilizing him, lol.

He should have been fired after the Green Bay game in the playoffs. We were so overconfident yet so woefully unprepared.

Yet Jerry kept him for another year.

This entire franchise are just fill with stupid people thinking they know more than us fans.

Mike Zimmer is past his prime. I think you guys here give him too much credit.

Zimmer or no Zimmer. Believing that Osa has been held back by coaching so far in his career is silly.

I will say that OSA would have a better argument regarding the DT’s he has been playing next to.
