I don't think its a far fetched idea to think they are overrated. Are they the best in the league, yes. Are they the best of all time like some make them out to be.....no, not yet.

With all due respect, isn't it a bit strange to basically be saying that the idea of them being overrated has merit because "they aren't the best o-line ever" (to paraphrase) when you just said they are the best in the league currently? I respect your opinion if that's how you feel, but surely you can see how weird that sounds.

I don't really think it's strange, thou I do admit, I am bias here. If you look at it in context of what he is saying, it's true. I, personally, don't think the Cowboys have the best OL in the league right now so I don't really agree with the over all premise but, lets say they were. In context, if you are one of the many who has said they might be the best ever or the best since the 90s Cowboys, then yeah, I'd say that constitutes the use of the term Over Rated. However, if you are only saying that they might be the best in the League now, then that's certainly a more reasonable claim.

Dude they are the best in the league right now. You seen how clean they kept Romo and opened up holes for our garbage RBs like some would say. How can you possibly think in any substance that this OL is over rated. ....that's absurd. They are as good as advertised and might possibly by the end of the season be known as the best ever

I agree, but it's like this... if they are overrated because they aren't the best o-line ever... how is that a bad thing? It's like saying Lebron James is overrated because he isn't as good as Jordan... well either way, he's still really freaking good. Even if our o-line is overrated, they are still incredibly good... and the scary thing is they are incredibly good and very young.

It might just be my perspective on the usage of the word "overrated", because the way Osi used it there he clearly meant it as an insult.

We know the kind of hype that follows the Dallas cowboys. When we are good we are the next champs and when we are bad we need to blow everything up. I can understand someone saying that our O-line is overrated because of some of the somewhat outlandish things that are said about them, such as best of all time etc.
