Apparently the new DC Sheridan called him out in film meetings after the Jets game, and he just walked out. He texted the GM to tell the team he's fine physically -- he just didn't like the way he was treated by the new DC.

Interesting...

Wait, he can go over the DC's and Coughlin's head straight to the GM to air a grievance???? So Coughlin is just a puppet?:D

Good, I hope they self-destruct.

I love it, at least the cowboys arent having all the drama now for espn to exploit and hammer away at;

maybe a rift now will develop between the defensive players and the defensive coordinator

remember awhile back, the cowboys had trouble with defensive line coach blake best i remember; he was starting some stuff about aikman best i remember;

They will look past it so they can cover a punt hitting a videoboard story.

reading what you posted led me to believe osi contacted the gm first and told him he was upset with the coordinator in addition to being ok

but the article says reese contacted osi and asked him if he was alright

osi then said he was ok but didnt explain why he left

still wrong to skip practice but doesnt sound as undermining as you made it seem. sure you didnt do it on purpose though

That's because what I typed was what Mosley was saying on the radio at the time. I only later added the link to the blog post.

Believe me, he was the one making it sound incriminating. Why he softens it on the blog, I don't know.

BTW, what difference does it make if Reese contacted him first or vice-versa? The player still walked out of camp without an injury and without telling anyone.

Osi did you like the money that was in your bank account? Put the little girl feelings behind you and grow a pair

oh ok that explains it. no suprise mosley or anyone at espn did so

but it still matters

for one its wrong to walk out of practice, i even said so no one is debating that

but its a whole other thing if he walks out then bypasses the coach and runs to the gm and vents his frustration. far worse

he didnt undermine his head coach. the gm contacted him not not vice versa.

looks way worse if he texted reese and talked negatively about his dc. but now we know he just skipped practice which is bad enough

Sheesh. I guess the defensive co-ordinator regrets "sending Osi a message" by actually calling him out.

Oh, and I guess Osi is sending the team a message of his own. Might just involve a middle digit on one of his hands.

Isn't communication fun. Tough one to make an example of now, hehe.

Just stirring the pot a little, awful quiet around these parts :D
