I'm not an OSU "fan" or a USC "fan", I'm a Longhorns "Fan". However, I think Pete Carroll and Jim Tressel are among the best Head Coaches at the college level and perhaps at any level. I respect and admire their coaching philosophies as well as the way that they can get every player on their team to buy into their stock. Every year they have a message and they don't forget that message, nor do they let their players. These two individuals are "Top-Notch" football coaches in my opinion.

I love Tressel, the man has just been great for Ohio St.

Obviously, Carroll has been the same for USC.

I think back to what we had before in Cooper and it makes me appreciate Tressel that much more.

And there's something wrong with getting your team to compete for a national championship every year.....
Coach K and Roy Williams are in the Basketball HOF and have a combined 4 national championships and about 25 Final Fours. The odds of a coach winning a title every time out don't happen. The greats know how to get them there a lot though.

In the Notre Dame thread...you brought up Ohio St when no one was talking about them...I just wanted to return the favor and point out your own coaches inadequacies.

I'm positive that you would love to get to a NC game and get owned compared to not getting there and losing to Navy.

Talk about suffering.

Speaking of Notre Dame and OWNED that has been a common theme for them and their fans. When is the last time Notre Dame won a big game in the early 1990's. Give me a break trying to talk about any team getting OWNED. Look in the mirror. Also Ohio State OWNED Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl a few years ago and made frontbutt look like the inept coach he is.
