besides NFL.com? I'm looking for a good place I can check each day to keep up with everything else going on in the league. I guess espn.com would be obvious, but what sites do you guys go to for non-cowboys football news?

sportspages.com is a great site for you to check the regional papers for each team.
for instance you could get links to a couple of papers in San Diego and see what's what wioth the Chargers as we approach the game.

thanks brain i'll give those a look.. i get all my stats from profootballreference.com but wish it was a little more comprehensive.. ie defensive stats, return yardage, passing stats for non qb's, etc.

Get yourself a news agregator (Such as sharpreader) or download and install Firefox or Maxthon, read about RSS and start here:

Scout.com

ESPN, Yahoo, CNN, and loads of other news (sports) sites have them. Usually upto date info on the fly. No more searching through web pages for interesting links, its all easily organized for you right there...

Im actually surprised it hasn't been implemented in some way on this mb...

i like theredzone.org as mentioned.

You can get general list at the top, and team articles near the bottom.

Has anyone else had problems with theredzone.org? Usually when I try to go there, they try to put some popups on me and it winds up locking up my system and I have to re-boot. I finally just quit going there, but I do miss it.

I love your avatar. I had one of those and I kicked butt on it.

Heh heh, that is a classic game. Just ordered one from ebay. Doubt I will play it much but just got it for the memories.

They're actually making those games again, just like they were when they came out. My brother got me both versions (the one in your avatar and the second one, in which you can pass the ball) last year. They're still fun -- until the buttons stop working, just like they did with the originals.

Amazing...one of my 4 year olds is playing with both these days. The original is mine from childhood and it works...although it sometimes goes on the fritz for a second and you can't read the yard line or score. Classic pic. Dale. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Oh....nice writing lately. Your work is increasingly better and that's not to say it wasn't very good before...just an observation.
