As I look at this thread, I haven't clicked on any of the vids. But I will NEVER forget the greatest golf shot that I ever saw.
Probably 15-20 years old. It was Mark McCumber.....He was 275 yards out on a dogleg par 5. And he needed to hole it out to force a playoff.
So he and his caddy mull over the notes on the course. He actually walked all the way up to the green to take a look at the what he was shooting into/onto.
Then, he pulls his driver out of his bag. (for those who play golf..yes, I said DRIVER.) He had a good lye.
He addresses the ball. Steps back....Re-adresses the ball.......And then he proceeds to hit the ball....It landed about 6 feet past the hole and rolled backwards......Just inches to the left of the cup.
Greatest golf shot EVER!!! Because he studied it. He knew what he had to do. And he missed by less than 2 inches, from 275 yards out.
