OT Laremy Tunsil traded to Washington

Washington is ALL IN and making moves left and right. You can do this when your QB is making a 500 bucks a month.

This is EXACTLY what the niners did. Notice now that the Niners have to pony up for their QB that they are getting rid of all their toys?
We didn't get any toys when Dak was on his rookie deal.

Every team but Philly has the same issue.

He will retire as soon as he sees Tyrus Wheat lined up across from him.

Steep price to pay for a player whose best years may be behind him. Sure, it makes Washington better short term, but it's Houston that made the smart trade. Houston is getting two quality draft picks that will be both young and cheap. This is how you build a team.

Dallas, on the other hand, would have signed him to a lengthy expensive extension, watched the decline in play, and eaten the dead money.

Smart, confident managements are never afraid to move on. Dallas is getting schooled by their in-state rival.

Probably a win/win trade though.

So essentially a 2nd and 3rd round pick. Too many needs for that price.
There’s also the contract. The price was pretty decent for a really good LT. But he’s a FA next year and will set the OT market

Tunsell would have been a nice get. I am sure the company line is Guyton will turn it around. Maybe the cell and internet reception is down on the yacht.

Not for all that draft capital . Texans made out nicely on an aging OLinemen

The work is being put in by the commanders for sure. This is what Dallas fails at doing. We are lazy. Smug. This time of year if you do your job well, it pays off later.

he is only 30 and is currently playing at virtually ALL PRO level
if you are going ALL IN for a SB this is a very good signing

Texans loaded with picks should be able to replace him still have picks left over .

Washington looking at it from the 2025 perspective I get it .

The benefit of having a quality young quarterback earning chicken feed compared with paying $60 million a year for an injury prone average old quarterback.

IF Stroudt is the real deal, and this year raised doubts, the Texans should be able to build an excellent team with the picks they have gotten.
We will see.

Washington is going all in for a SB right now; like Jethro claimed we were doing but never have.
