I'm riding high on our win against the Colts, but in the backdrop, I've been keeping an eye on our old buddy Norv in SF. Give him props, his 49er team really resembles our young 1991 pre-Super Bowl team.

I know there's always been animosity towards the 49ers among Cowboy fans, but times have changed. Both us and them have been down for a long time.

What's nice is to see both teams slowly move back up.

It's amazing to watch the 49ers scrap the WCO. It's nice seeing them run the Don Coryell offense ... same offense which brought us 3 Super Bowls.

Alex Smith is coming on his own. He played well in the win vs Seattle.

I'm not rooting for the 49ers, but there's always soft spot in my heart for Norv. I'm glad he's having success.

How nice would it be to see another Cowboys - 49ers playoff game? :)

They're only a game behind Seattle for the division lead. I wouldn't bet on them making the playoffs but they are making things interesting out there.

My hatred of the 49ers have been tempered through the years. Maybe it's old age.

But I'm simply pulling for Norv. He deserves some credit after these years. I'm happy he took down the Seahawks. They're nothing more than pretenders, and he proved it.

I would love a Cowboy - 49er showdown in the playoffs. NFC Championship Game would be even better.

You never know. With all these NFC teams staggering, and the Cowboys and 49ers each making a nice small run ... who knows?

But we still have our own business to take care of Bucs are next.

No predictions of victory. But a win, and a nice Turkey dinner will make for a nice Thanksgiving Day. :)

I have not seen much of the 49ers but from what very little I do see it seems like Frank Gore is really turning it on.

Norv Turner is a great coach, and I like the Don Coryell style offense, as I believe it gives you a chance late in the season when you truly need a balanced offense to win. Norv's problems as a head coach have been that he seems to be too nice of a guy.
