Not for me.Angus;1742077 said:I hope everyone realizes that the time changes tonight at 2:00 am. Set your clocks to "fall back" an hour so you'll be on the same schedule as the games.

What is the stress level like at your job? I was a fireman for 7 years and always wondered what you guys must go through until we get there sometimes.Ozzu;1742124 said:It's a job where I spend all my time on a computer. I'm a 911 dispatcher and it's not very busy at the moment. It's good that they don't care because while it's not busy, there's nothing to do.

Most intense call?
Ever had an officer down call?Ozzu;1742136 said:Honestly, it depends on the person. Me? I'm about as easy-going as is possible. Literally, the most worked up I get during the week is during a Cowboys game. I'm never really nervous or anxious at anytime until then.
That's not to say that the adrenaline doesn't ever get going. The most intense is working the police channel and a call coming in that's in progress and involves weapons. Your adrenaline is going as much as those actually responding to the call. Structure fires are the same way. It's just a flurry of activity and a lot to keep up with.
Calltake, the toughest are the medical calls. We give medical instructions over the phone and giving CPR over the phone or giving birth instructions over the phone is always a treat. The worst calls are seizure calls from parents of infants who've never had a seizure before. They're hysterical and you can't help but get worked up while talking to them.
