Interesting. Are things good with Free? Or does this probably hint at a backup?

Weems makes me uneasy. If something were to happen to Free or Tyron, Weems is not the answer. So, if true...I'm happy. Just have to trust that the player they get can do the job.

Starting OTs are not on the market at this time.

This is likely for a swing tackle.

This would be Green's job had he stayed healthy. And as early as a few days ago people were furious we didn't use a 3rd on one of these underwhelming rookie runners.

This team has a pulse on what we need. Totally locked in.

I hope they can get that done. I'm not a fan of Weems. Probably not a whole bunch of good swing tackles available but you have to think there's a guy that's better than Weems somewhere

The team is on the ball. Their talent evaluators have been on point for a few years now, bar Claiborne, so I'll trust they'll find someone better than Weems.

clearly this is for swing tackle. They want Collins at guard and not convinced he has footwork for T. This is more about Weems looking bad and rookie on PUP. Smith goes down and team is in big trouble.

That's my thinking as well. I wasn't a fan of Stephen's comments after the 1st preseason game about how he had only practiced at RT and it wasn't fair to judge him after moving to LT. Isn't that the job of the swing tackle? To be prepared to play either side at a moments notice. To me he never really improved throughout the preseason.

If Claiborne ever plays near the level where we drafted him I would cry with joy.

Wouldn't it be cool if we were trading for a STARTING RT and moving Free to swing tackle? Although that would surprise me, it's possible. No?

They must feel like they are going to get a few conpensation picks next year unless it's a player for player. I'll assume that it's going to be a solid but aged veteran.

Starting tackles left or right don't come cheap. What are you willing to give up to get a starting RT?

Personally I think it's for a swing tackle. Free is solid nothing more nothing less
