OT: Wouldn't it be nice to see some NFL games today?

I wish the league had some Saturday day games again. Today would be a perfect day for a couple of games!

Yes I always like the season ending Saturday games.
I believe they use to have it for 2 weeks. Then only had a few Thursday night games. Also in the 70's they would have a Friday night game once or twice a year.

Of course now, all teams play last game on Sunday, no Monday night games. So that is good.

Yeah, give me a couple of Saturday games to end the season. In fact, just cancel lame college football and have the NFL on both weekend days the entire season.

You can point to Thursday games and I would agree, however, I don't think late Saturday games is "watering down" the product. I used to love those Saturday games back in the day. We'll get them next week.

Not sure I understand what the difference is. The game is either being played on Sunday or it's not.

Me too. I haven't watched a single Thurs game outside ours. Just doesn't do anything for me. Saturday would be ideal however

Weird. I think Sundays are watered down completely. Seriously, who even watches half the crapfest noon games if we don't have a vested interest?

If it was on Saturday I might actually watch it.

As big an NFL diehard as I am I don't like Saturday NFL games don't like being glued to the set the entire weekend. I end up recording the late Saturday game unless the Cowboys are playing and watch it later.

In the past it was always cool because we were used to college football on Saturdays and this is the first weekend there aren't any college games, with the exception of Army/Navy.

I think this and next weekend are a good chance to show 2 games each Saturday.

What? Have more games on more days is the exact opposite of watering down Sundays. It also gives the spotlight to more teams. It's a win/win.
