Here's what I'm thinking : "Could all this be over with soon and Sept. 10th get here?" I'm just chompin' at the bit ready for some Cowboy football games!

Sure I'm interested in who makes the team, how Mac's offense looks, and is Dan Quinn's defense gonna be as dangerously good as I think it can be.

Look y'all, all this OTA, camp, and even preseason is just fluff, fun fluff but still fluff. Seems like September will never get here. I'm ready for some football, baby !

Last time we had a no pads injury in Cowboys OTA was Sean Lee's ACL tear going against Zack Martin.

Yeh please no freak, frightening serious injuries. .. sumthin' we say in every OTA, training camp, and preseason.

- With no pad practices and limited contact, ..I can only look forward to some limited 7 on 7 pass drills ... Lamb- Cook, Gallup, (Callaway?) ... vs Gilmore, Diggs, Josephs and Wright.
Also the unheralded WRs (ala Cropp, Brooks, Houston, Drummond, Brandon Smith)

- Be cool to look at rookie Eric Scott and maybe even Izzy at CB.. vs the WRs as well.

- Wanna see some looks with Pollard and Vaugh and Jones vs coverage LBs Clarke, Overshown ... but i get the vibe that will come more in training camp rather

- Will we get to see TEs Luke Schoon, Ferguson, Hendershot vs coverage LBs and safeties ? ..Not too much - be more roll out waggles, lenient coveage
I also get this will come in TC as well.

- We'll only get some limited previews in OTA- Maybe to introduce and get accumulated - adjusted to plays, schemes and designs
..The much more heavier stuff will obviously be more in training camp ... (which is soooo very long away !!)

- Will we see far more McCarthy talking and training Dak in the new West Coast offense ?
- Or will it be more OC Schottenheimer working with Dak, than McCarthy ?

- Will we see Tyler at LT,.. and Tyron at RT ?
- Will we see Steele line up at LG now or later on there in training camp ?

- Will we see glimpses of Gallup returning to his previous form ?

- FG kicking ..? ... (sigh),..who knows ? Stay tuned

- Will we see rookie Deuce continue training in fielding punts ?

i'm thinking let's not go overboard one way or the other if a player looks bad or looks great. This won't be a factor. This is only for the team to introduce the players to each other, see if they are in shape and that they are injury free, or get some rehab if not ok.. Most important thing is pray for no major injuries. TSmith are you listening? Maybe wrap him in bubble wrap and set him on the shelf to be opened on opening day.

It never fails that someone will get upset if players don't show up. So let's normalize NOT ranting because players want to train elsewhere or God forbid take a vacation. lol

I would like to see if they put in any of the new offense even in 7 on 7 basic stuff. As to a few routes and blocking schemes. If we can tell anything from any of it.
Where do some of the players line up at both sides of the ball. Even if only experimental stuff.
