This is indeed a sad day at Dove Valley as Brandon Stokley, one of the most popular and professional players to ever wear a Broncos uniform, is in the process of having his contract terminated.

It's also a shocking day as the Broncos cut defensive end Jarvis Green despite the $3.255 million he is owed for this year. The team also released outside linebacker Darrell Reid.

Green was one of the Broncos's "Big Three" free-agent defensive linemen signed by the Broncos in March. Justin Bannan and Jamal Williams were the other two additions.

Green was given a four-year, $11.755 million contract, of which his $2.5 million signing bonus and $755,000 salary for this year were guaranteed.

One sleeper team I'll keep watch on Leinart is the Saints. Maybe be a stretch but Sean Payton liked him coming out. Nothing but speculative.

Hell no. NO more WR projects.

Granted it doesn't always work out, but there have been some notable college QBs that made the transition as WRs in the NFL.

Hines Ward
Randle El
Crayton
Anquon Boldin

I think Pat White would still be on the Dolphins roster had he been willing to make the switch.

And another QB bites the dust: Titans releasing QB Chris Simms.

Damn I was hoping he would catch on there. I was teammates with him back in HS for basketball.

he was converted to wr in college and barely played any qb in college.

Here is a list of the players the Titans have released to get down to the 53-man limit.

DT Joe Joseph
TE Steven Pfahler
RB Alvin Pearman
QB Chris Simms
CB Tye Hill
DE Chris Harrington
T Michael Toudouze
DE Eric Bakhtiari
G Nevin McCaskill
G Nick Howell
S Myron Rolle
WR Paul Williams
DT David Howard
C Kevin Matthews
WR Dominique Edison
FB Jed Collins
RB Samkon Gado
DE Raheem Brock
LB Patrick Trahan

OT Jon Jansen just let go by Detroit.

This guys been around a while but sill played in 11 games last year. I'd like to pick him up for the vet minimum and use him as depth at RT. He'd play backup for a contender. Good locker room guy too.
