Someone on The NFL Network just said that the Giants have won 4 out of the last 5 regular season games against the Cowboys? Wouldn't that be the exact opposite of what it actually is?

The cowboys are 7-5 against the giants since 03, and 0-1 in the playoffs.

Romo has won 4 straight regular season games against the giants.

Dallas has won of the last 5 regular season games, but including the playoffs we have lost 2 of the last 3 against them.

I'm glad someone else heard that because I wasn't really paying attention and thought that surely I heard it wrong. Can you believe they don't even have that right?

I'm sure whoever said it heard the "4 out of 5" and, since they're great and we're choking dogs, assumed they were the ones with all the wins.

We've had some great memorable week 2 wins against the Giants... from 1970 when we "rose from the ashes" and captured the NFC East, made it to the Super Bowl (lost), but came back the next season to win it...

and then of course in more recent memory, the 1992 season, held off the Giants for a 34-28 victory, and of course, later that season, the first of three Super Bowls in four years.

I can't believe you left off the 2003 week 2 game, we didn't go to the super bowl that year, but that was one awesome game.

Was that the QC to Bryant in the closing minutes of the 4th? That was definately a great game. I believe that was the 2nd game of the Parcells era?

Correct, when Cundiff hit the 53 yarder to win it. It was Parcells' first win as a Cowboy.

Good catch. How about 1987 week 2 when the Cowboys beat the defending super bowl champ Giants on the road? It was a 16-14 nail-biter of a game.

That 34-28 victory in 1992 really sucked though because it wasn't nearly that close of a game. As I recall we were up 34-0 in the middle of the 3rd quarter and then proceeded to nearly blow a darn 34 point lead by letting them score 28 unanswered points. It seems like the defense made a big play at the end, when the Giants had the ball and were driving to attempt to take the lead, that finally sealed. But my memory of that is a bit fuzzy.

Yeah, I remember that one... I was in the hospital recovering from surgery, every time I screamed, I thought I split my stitches open. We did a great job of controlling the ball in that game...

Roger Ruzek hit the game winner, if I recall correctly.

Michael Irvin dropped an easy pass on 3rd down that probably would have sealed the game sooner. Instead Dallas had to punt. The defense then finally stepped back up and sealed the game as you mentioned.

Why do you lie, Hos? Dallas never wins big games in December, but that info you provided shows two wins in December against the Giants. That is not possible.
