Now that Miles Austin is gone, Dallas must need to adress the WR position in this upcoming Draft. Maybe not in the early rounds, but i think there will be some interest prospects in the 7th or as a UFA's. Here's one to follow, great hands, make all the catches, not too flashy, plays with attitude and runs clean and precise routes.

Hingle McCringleberry, WR, Penn St.

I'm all about drafting a wr early. If he is BPA and can start day one why not. Go get Jordon Matthews or moncrief

In all seriousness, I am counting on the Cowboys drafting a WR after the 3rd round. It is said by many of the experts that this draft is loaded with WR prospects so, after Dallas secures a vet backup, they should look for try and find one in this draft.

Austin only started 8 games last year and only played a few snaps in half of those.

Williams started 8 games and actually has functioning hamstrings.

Did we cut Williams too? Kid looked like he was turning into a very good #2 WR to me. I am not against drafting a WR, but not early.

Right?
I was thinking the same thing. You MUST give Williams 1st shot at WR2...a total no brainier.
The kid was making all sorts of plays late last year.

I am would be very happy with Dez and Williams on the outside and Beasley manning the slot. Yeah, maybe we could use a little more depth but not on the first couple days of the draft.

I know we have to address the D-line but I wouldn't mind seeing us grab Kelvin Benjamin from FSU in the second round to be that #2 receiver. The dude is a beast.

I will use Atlanta as an example of what happens when you get enamored with skill positions, particularly wide receivers, and don't address your lines. They have the best receiving tandem in the league by far and we atrocious last season. Load up the lines this year. If Williams fizzles then address it next draft or FA.

Yeah, Williams should step right into #2. People always like a new toy, but don't forget Williams led the NCAA in receiving and was highly regarded coming out of college. He is no slouch, and showed as much during his rookie season.

#3 guy is necessity. It's clear as day they don't like Harris for that role (though I'd love for him to get a shot). Beasley is just not big enough.

This draft is very deep in wide receiver in the first four rounds. If a guy like Jarvis Landry falls to the third round, he will be tough to pass.

I wouldn't want one early, but good golly, if Evans falls for any reason....hmmmmmmm
