Uh....Russell's Broncos and Ryan's Colts don't hold a candle to their former teams in their heyday.

Denver is a pretty damned talented team. Russell Wilson has played poorly. Now whether it’s his fault or the new coaching staff’s fault (or both) is up for discussion. Regardless, he has played poorly.

Looks like wilson lost that game like he did the sb. Could be wearing another sb ring. But just couldn’t help it. I wonder who called that play. In the sb carol took the wrap for the play. Just run it in yourself or turn around and hand it off and you win. And they had a very good rb in the sb. He was pissed after that game. He cost so many players so much money in future contracts.

Both Russell Wilson and Matt Ryan are in decline. Any time you have to opt for a veteran cast off at QB you’re in trouble. Teams aren’t going to move on from a veteran QB who can still play at a consistently high level. The Cowboys have been there with Vinny and Drew Bledsoe. It’s no fun!

I was making the point that, I expect him to improve dramatically, and I think that would happen very quickly on this team. It's not like he was just getting lucky for years. The man can play, but he's in a slump right now. I'd gladly trade Rush for him.

Wilson has been in the league for 12 seasons now. It would not be shocking if this is the beginning of the end. Most players can't go for 15+ seasons like we're starting to become accustomed to with QBs.

Ryan is now on his 15th season and is starting to show his age.

These guys aren't immortal. The Tom Bradys and Aaron Rodgers of the world have created this unrealistic expectation that QBs are immune to decline as they get older, but outside of a select few it just isn't true.

I think the coaching is the problem in Indy. As for Wilson....wow! He might be the worst QB this year. I think Pete Carroll should get coach of the year as an apology from the league. He's made Geno Smith look like top 15, while Russell Wilson looks like an undrafted rookie pressed into action in week 1.

I am just going to assume Wilson has just gotten lazy with preparation and a little too comfortable because I don't think it is a physical thing. I knew it was him when Geno came in for him last year after injury and started hitting receivers in stride in the same game that Wilson could not find a receiver to throw to.

Ryan is just old and terrible in the pocket and takes too many sacks! That's what cost him a Super Bowl!

Shocked at Ryan’s drop off. New system and all but he just looks bad. Injuries, lost his top RB, but man, just making dumb throws.
Wilson….thought he’d be a bit more plug and play..he’s not looking great so far either. He’s missing guys and making questionable throws too. Thought the Broncos were primed to win too.
I’d swap him for Dak though still.
