Just heard it on CBS 11 in Dallas. We have lost an NFL RECORD 6 straight Playoff games. We Have not won a Playoff game since since beating the Vikings in the Wild Card Round at home in Dec. of '96.

1. 1996 Season: Jan. 5th 1997 : Lost at Panthers In Divisional Round 26-17
2. 1998 Season: Jan. 2nd 1999: Lost to Cardinals in Wild Card Round 20-7
3. 1999 Season: Jan. 9th 2000: Lost at Vikings in Wild Card Round 27-10
4. 2003 Season: Jan. 3rd 2004: Lost at Panthers in Wild Card Round 29-10
5. 2006 Season: Jan. 6th 2007: Lost at Seahawks in Wild Card Round 21-20
6. 2007 Season: Jan.13th 2008: Lost to Giants in Divisional Round 21-17

This is a damn Shame! We Are America's Team! We should be winning Super Bowls! Not losing playoff games we're supposed to win. :banghead:

Well here's to putting an end to that streak next year and becoming the first team ever to finish 19-0.

Yea, boy! Who's with me?

Records are set and broken. Dallas set this record. Dallas has also set the record for most Super Bowl appearances. Que sera sera. It's not the end of the world.

yet we have people reveling in the Giant's Super Bowl win

The perspective is, atleast for me, reveling in the Pats loss! I got so sick of the greatest team ever, greatest QB ever, and perfection stuff, so I'm glad they got punked in the superbowl.

Hey I could write up some of the records we set under Dave Campo's Era. If you want to feel real bad.

You do realize we gave up the most 200 yards rushing performance by RB's in one season:puke:

We are still the only team to lose the opening game while playing an expansion team. This to think that was David Carr's defining moment of his career

:ralph:

So before we moan about the playoff loss this year and last just think back to records like that when we had a poodle on the sideline in charge.

We snuck into the playoffs and deserved to lose most of those. This year, not so much.

When you realize that the Cowboys aren't going to win the Super Bowl every year, then you're not so obsessed by losing.

We're going to lose some years. Nobody wins every year.

But we have a young team, a franchise quarterback and a talented squad that just needs maturity.

We'll be fine. But it's the Giants time now.

I for one am not "reveling" in the Giant's SB win, but I'm glad it took a World Champion to beat us, not some also ran. I wish it would have been we, but let's face it: We blew our chance to be there, and i don't think our players would have pulled it off anyway.

I hope next year will be much different. We did beat the World Champions twice in '07 and only lost to them by a small margin in the POs. If we can get it into our heads that winning the SB takes 19 full games of football and being 3-0 in the last 3, we'll be champs again...

You look at most of those games and it was the Offense that did not show up. We did not score more then 17 except one time.
