Our cap room

I know. But half the people here seem to think we can go pay whoever we want and pay the guys I just mentioned and piss off cap room on Dez and Witten and still have tons of cap room available. It's just not realistic.

Agreed on that one.

We can .....we have over 60m in cap room without cutting a single player

If Zeke gets to the end of his contact with no more off the field issues then resign him. I doubt that happens. How many guys can stay out of the spotlight off the field once they started?

Dez is probably best at turning his life around but even he had issues his first 3 years.

There was even a bodyguard attached to PAC Man and he still got in trouble during the season.
Kobe Bryant did it....Von Miller did it....everyone isn't Aldon Smith or Josh Gordon.

Romo still is not off the cap. Plenty of savings moving on from Dez, Bease, Witten, OScan, and Crawford either this year or next.

Cap is fine. Need to keep drafting well.

Just based on the things you say it appears that you have no idea what salary cap means. I am saying if we resign all of those guys it is going to eat up a huge portion of our cap. What about that do you not understand? It's really not a difficult concept.
4 of those guys you listed don't need to be signed long-term today. 2 of them don't need to be signed for many years out.

At which point we'll likely have more expensive guys gone or restructured and the cap will be much higher.

We are about as cleana s possible from a cap perspective as we have been in the last decade or so. Cap gloom and doom thread now? Yikes.

Yawn.......front load some guys now and back loads Dak and Zeke later........the key is, let's spend some freaking money on quality free agents so we can be playing next February!!!!!

How about being smart with the cap and draft well and spend appropriately in free agency and contend every year.

At some point it may be worth giving up a late round pick for a veteran who is ready to go now and resign him to a reasonable deal. At some point we should do that provided we hit with a high percentage of our draft picks, because that gives the team some room to spend on quality free agents.

More importantly the ‘skins are less talented now. I endorse the trade.
