Does anyone have a pretty solid idea how many compensatory picks we might receive this year and where they might fall?

I do not believe we are getting any. We lost Mike Jenkins, Felix Jones, and Victor Butler who all signed small deals. We signed Justin Durant, Dante Rosario, and Will Allen. There's a scientific formula to it but I do not believe we will get anything, maybe a 7th.

I forgot about John Phillips and the deal he got from San Diego.

Ogletree also got a decent contract.

You can add up the incoming vs outgoing contracts and it's close to break-even IIRC. Break-even would result in zero comp picks.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Ogletree was released by the Buccaneers. I doubt he would qualify.

Nobody but Goodell seems to know the exact formula, but I don't think it matters that he was released, just the initial contract.

Players we should receive compensation, most we could get is maybe a 4th, but doubtful yet a 5th maybe for jenkins
, mike who plays for raiders and had a good year. TE John Phillips had a good year for San Diego, maybe a 6th to 7th. victor butler in new Orleans, marcus spears in Baltimore half a year, felix jones, dan connor, Kenyon coleman had no impact for compensation, my question is this though also with issue with jay Ratliff, and him signing with bears, saying he couldn't play in 2013, even his agent said so, but day after he gets cut, a doctor says he could play, whereas Ratliff wouldn't let cowboys doctors check him out, so do we get compensation and money back for that, and not have to pay the 7 million in 2014 for dead money?
