Our current backup QBs

Here's the problem.

Backup quarterbacks typically make $1 million a year. Sometimes a lot more than that.

When your starter makes late 4th-round money, that creates an awkward situation to sign somebody.

You can't sign Bridgewater unless you're going to let him compete for the starting job.

A healthy Bridgewater might WIN the starting job in Dallas.

How in the world can you judge either one of these backups they are playing behind garbage.

Eh, I get you, but he might.

Dak's had a good preseason. I'm totally behind the guy. I watch a ton of SEC football and loved the Prescott pick.

But Bridgewater is extremely talented as well. Barring his injury I think the Vikings are solid on him. No reason to dump on him because he got hurt.

If Dallas took him in he could strongly contend. I doubt he'd want to do it. He likely wants a chance to start somewhere else.

Bridgewater's a Jet.

So, these would be my choices for who I think would be better than what we've currently got as our backup QBs. Hopefully, we never have anything go wrong with Dak, but we've GOT to have better insurance for him than what we've got.

Two Words: Matt Cassell

Veteran QBs still have a learning curve for *your* offense.

Unless Tony wants to play, I'd go with Cooper. He knows the offense, whatever his limitations as QB.

Just activate Moore if Dak gets injured he can be a player/coach

I do you one better , why don't we pick up a better starting bus driver who doesn't glitch out with pressure.. Heck did Tebow get scared in the pocket... he drives and throws as bad as Dak.
