Our D is Good. Now

DO NOT sit on our laurels and think it's good enough. We are still susceptible to up the middle stuff and our S play is iffy. I love Jeff Heath, but as a backup/nickel/STer.

Dak is a good game manager and getting better. However, he's prolly not going to be much more than he is now.

Soooooo.....Keep building the frickin' D!!!!! Get a JAX type D and let Dak be Bortles.

We don't have a bad DLine any more. It's OK. However, what we could use on the DLine to side DLaw is a real game changer inside. Not sure we have one of those at DT, and I dang sure do not want to depend on Irving. Get a Malik Jackson type. There is generally a nice one available in FA because teams don't want to pay them. We will have to shell out some bucks, but if one is out there, grab him.

Not sure exactly what we have at S, but I don't think we have that game changing type of S.

Jerry, quit being stubborn and get a NT, S, and a game changing DT.

It's been a while since we had a good defense. I think it's going to get better as the season progresses!!

Agreed, my friend.
This defense is looking much better than it has since Wade was the DC.
But they need that interior presence.
A monster like Fletcher Cox, a Geno Atkins caliber type at 3T. Or a Snack Harrison nose that makes elite RBs like Zeke have to fight for every yard.
Of course I agree with you about the Safety spot. I'm looking forward to seeing X. Woods get back out there. He's supposedly that rangy FS type the team has lacked since I've been a fan.
