Our defense is bad, but it seems a lot of defenses have been awful this preseason

It seems a lot of defenses have been awful this preseason. Is anyone watching the Pats/Eagles? There have been a number of games this PS where it seems the defenses are awful.

It's preseason. Pats defense is gonna be nasty. I think Brady gets his fourth and final ring this year. People forgot about Revis.

Brady? Garaffallo is lightin them up! Eagles offense = slant pattern, run, run, punt. No pass rush by Eagles. Secondary looks average. Shady= big run, loss, short gain, loss. Foles has a slow windup delivery. It's a wonder he doesn't get sacked more.

Not trying to justify our defense. I'm just observing the poor defensive play. I don't know if it's due to the fact that officials are calling games closer. Maybe teams just can't practice tackling enough due to the new CBA. Terrible to watch, though.

He said the Pats/Eagles game so I assumed he was saying both defenses were horrible. I know the Eagles have no D. But I think the Pats will have the best D they've had since they won Super Bowls. I'm calling Patriots over Niners in the Super Bowl.

I think the refs are calling it to close and its preseason. Wait til the offical season starts, than you ll see a big difference.

Philly 1st team defense looked like crap against the Pats.....but on the other hand, the Seattle defense is still in beast mode.... need to watch and see who Seattle cuts..some good players will not make their roster.

For sure. As bally hooed as their head coach was coming into his job...he has taught a tough, strong team, even with some 'advantages,' has strong fundamentals to match their discipline.

I doubt they will push us around like last time. Our interior guys are on the nasty side this time around. Dez vs. Sherman will be something to see as well - those guys are going to get mic'ed up for that for sure

We might be one of the few teams that can go toe to toe physically with Seattle's D.

That's what a beast O-line does for you. They were even missing a starter last night. Hopefully ours can do that for Romo this year.

Our defense can not be as bad as last year. Literally the worst ever. We need to run the ball more and give the d rest. Can't make tony throw 400 yards every game.

We play them at Seattle, Oct 12. No doubt going to be a tough atmosphere. Unless Seattle falls flat on their face to start the year, those fans should be in full force every week in that stadium.

Regardless, I can't wait to see their Defense meet our Offense. Gonna be a good one.

After watching four pre-season games, I get the impression that the defense has to beat the offense and the refs as well.
