Next year it could be totally different. If Ellis, Singleton, Fujita, and Glover are gone I think it will take a huge hit. I would like to get some O-Linemen in FA and go Defense heavy in the first-third round again. That would make us a great D. We can sign a WR, maybe even trade for a Randy Moss who is rumored to might even be cut this year.

What do yall think about a Ellis/Glover for Moss deal?

No Ellis/ Glover for Moss, we could get TO w/o trading them. I'd like to keep Glover and i really wish Ellis would stay. It really pisses me off that he has to go. He led the team in sacks last year, and tied this year!!!!!!

Since Ellis wants to leave, we might as well try to trade him for someone. I say we keep Glover and trade Ellis for a FS.

I think Moss would be wasted here the way Galloway was wasted.

We all hated the wasted 2 first round picks given for Galloway, and we lamented them even more when Joey didn't perform for us...we were angry when Joey complained that Dallas didn't use him...He claimed all we ever asked him to do was clear out for other guys underneath, that he was only told to run deep all the time and the QB was told to throw it underneath...sounded like bull.

Funny thing though....Joey Galloway looked like a superstar before we traded for him...he looked like a joke pretender while in Dallas. Now he's being used again in Tampa Bay and he again looks like a superstar....83 catches....1287 yards...10 TDs....19 catches over 20 yards....all that with a somewhat shakey QB in Simms after Griese went down....I think there was a problem in Dallas.

By the way, Antonio Bryant, for all his problems, went over 1000 yards this year in Cleveland.

I don't see both Ellis and Glover gone. Even so both were playing limited roles and weren't exactly gamebreakers. Fujita? I hate to use the cliche "average at best", but it fits. It'll definitely be a loss if Singleton can't come back. Many people ragged on him until they saw the effects of losing him. A free agent FS pick up and perhaps some depth at LB from the draft will help. Don't give up on Burnett either. He'll certainly step up his role (and hopefully performance) next year, especially if he moves inside. I wouldn't worry too much about this defense.

Not to mention, a few less 3 and outs on offense will do wonders for this defense.

Its hard not to use Madden jokes when you see such ridicilous trade proposals. Ellis is a nice player but no one is going to give Dallas jack for players that they know dont fit into their system.

Singleton and Fujita will be back. Fowler too, based on the way Parcells talks about them.

I kinda like them back myself - I think I am starting to like Fujita actually.

The only hit we take would be if Glover left. Fujita isn't going any where. Singleton has been mia for a while and wasn't coming back anyways. Ellis is a part time player. To say "totally different" is over-stating it.
