Our defenses weakness

IMO, the weakness of the defense is QBs that are real runners.


4 of our 5 losses this year I would say the biggest factors in those losses were the QBs ability to make plays with their legs especially on 3rd down.

Carolina - Cam

Seattle - Russel Wilson

Houston - Watson

Tennessee - Marriota

Commanders - Alex Smith and he’s not as mobile as he once was so I guess this is a game you could point to where the QBs legs weren’t a big factor.


I think you could also argue that our defense played good enough to win but couldn’t overcome Linehan and Dak.


If we get to the playoffs I hope we avoid mobile QBs, let someone else go to New Orleans, and I say bring on the Rams.. I love how we match up with them and I think Dallas fans would take over that stadium.

Mobile QBs and any zone coverages. As too many receivers left open.
The other thing was 3rd down blitzes don’t seem to work as often on key plays.

Though they said they are one of the better teams at it. It does not seem like.

Blitz the corners. Every QB hates when the slot corner blitzes.

Because you have to give ground in another area. Maybe it's taken Richards a bit to figure out what some of our guys can do. But if all you had to do is 1 thing to stop a qb it would be soooo easy.

Odds are we'll finish 4th & play the Vikings or Panthers in the first round and then the Rams in the 2nd. I like how we match up against the Vikings and Rams! If we win both games it would more than likely result in a rematch with the Saints in their house.

I worry about TEs against us. NO doesn't use them much at all. But Reed/Davis went for 150 and a TD last time, Ertz went for 150 and two TDs, Engram went 7-67-1. In the next couple weeks, we get Ertz and Ebron, who's been a monster for the Colts. The Bucs lost Howard, but Brate's pretty good too.
