I had to wait a few days you know what I mean? To post I'm not as upset as I was a few days ago but still irked . Anyway as we all know we're 2-2 in it looks like the toughtest division.

Deadskins 3-0 2 home games 1 road games everytime they need a play it seems like it happens, by the skins of their teeth they have a tough month ahead.

Filthy 3-1 2 home games and 2 road games I thought KC had gotten them but give them credit they fought. I think we win this game at home we're ina corner so to speak.

G-men 3-1 1 road game and 3 home games the Saints game WAS a home game. The only road game they got drug.

Boys 2-2 I home game that we blew ( burns me up) and 3 games in Cali. So as you see we have had the worse of it as of now what does it mean we shall see but many of us predicted 2-2 at this point and here we are

Not to mention the "fortunate bounces" that others have recieved during their games which we will eventually get our share of. I am refering to Janakowski missing 2FGs against the Eagles who win by 3, yet he goes 4-4 against us. As well as a 41yd attempt that hit the upright against the Commanders, who won in OT. Not forgetting the two bombs we gave them on MNF. The Giants look like the best team in the division right now, no question.

I agree, at this point in time the Giants look like the best team in the division. Aamazingly!!! doing it with a QB thats only has 12 regular season games under his belt......ummmmmmm simply amazing.

Totally agree with you on the bounces. They don't seem to be going our way. I was really poed about Janakowski. He sucks, yet goes 4-4 against us. Don't believe in the Giants. I think thier D stinks. They have 8-8 written all over them. Washington will be lucky to see thier 7th win this year. I see it as a two horse race with Philly.

By the way, who annointed Philly as unbeatable. They blow up a weak S.F. team at home, slip by a mediocre Oak team at home and forge an improbable comeback against an ok K.C. team that still can't play defense. Oh ya and they did actually lose a game to the Falcons. If we take care of business this week, will stay neck and neck with them all year.

mmm... the giants havent played anyone, the only good team they have played they got blown out (Chargers). So lets wait before anointing them as the best in the division.

I still think when the season is done the Eagles will win the division but the cowboys will finish 2nd and likely make the playoffs. The deadskins and the gints will flame out when the schedule gets tough and the luck runs out.

Atleast the gints have Eli to look forward to in the future...

Lot's of black and white in this thread ... not many shades of gray.

Philly: Should be considered the favorite in the division, but it's not a given. Their talent isn't THAT much greater than the rest of the teams.

Giants: An improved team. Eli is starting to look so good it's scary. They will have trouble on defense this year (backfield), but right now they aren't having too much trouble outscoring teams. Most points in the league.

Cowboys: About where they were last year. I would have said there was an upgrade at QB, but it isn't a HUGE difference so far. Some nice young talent on the team on both sides of the ball. Not sure about the direction of the team (and from what I've read while lurking, neither are a lot of you).

Commanders: An improved team. Great defense, bad offense ... but doesn't seem to be as bad as last year. Moving the ball well but still not scoring much. Yes, they will see some rough Sundays as the schedule gets tougher, but they aren't the scrubs many are making them out to be. They absolutely dominated Seattle for 3+ quarters before nearly blowing the game. There was more to that win than a missed FG.

It hasn't mattered to this club in years that their backs were against the wall.

Dallas has been playing better against Philly in the last couple of years, so, who knows, maybe they will play well Sunday. Why not? This is the most inconsistent team in the league right now.

When this group of strangers settles down and becomes a team, consistency will settle in and, obviously, it hasn't happened yet. Maybe Sunday...maybe not.

This damn fence is hurtin' my butt.

Eagirls have shown fire and an ability to win the easy game and win the close game. Against SF they tore em up and tossed em to the curb while still in the 1st quarter, You saw what happened last sunday with the chiefs. they can score quickly and often if needed.

We are so gunna get whacked in this game. I am the biggest homer out there, but man, be real. This is the eagirls, not the 49er's or saints. We are too green and young to be seriously considered as an dark horse. We really have little to no chance in this game. Thats just the reality of the situation. I would be really surprised and impressed if we can play ball with them for all 4 quarters. We are just 1-2 years away from being able to beat the eagirls, pats and Steelers on any given sunday.

San Diego is a better team than Philly, and we didn't get "whacked", Oh, in fact, we beat the Chargers.

We have been consistently competitive in all four games that we played.

Rembember folks, we played 3 out of 4 games on the road...makes a difference.

IMO this game can go either way. But I also think we had better open things up on both sides of the ball or it could get real ugly. I predicted we would lose to the Faiders. However, I thought it would be because Moss would have lite us up. We actually held him in check for the most part except for that 79 yarder
