Our draft class has been miserable this year

1. Bobby Carpenter - hasn't played hardly at all
2. Anthony Fasano - seems redundant given Witten and it doesn't look like he blocks well
3. Jason Hatcher - hurt, we have a million defensive linemen anyway
4. Skyler Green - absolutely worthless; will be nothing other than a punt returner and even there he is VERY shaky
5. Patrick Watkins - one of the few who has played much but has gotten beat deep over and over
6. Montavius Stanley - we cut him right?
7. Pat McQuistan - perhaps one of the few this team could actually use, but hasn't played much at all

Seriously, a pathetic draft this past year. I think that has hurt us pretty bad and might continue to do so over the next few years.

Please- over reaction much. Now I agree about Green. Hatcher was contributing and helping so you really lost any credibility there. Watkins needs to sit and think about things. Philthy apparently is still in his head since he froze a couple of times. Fasano- yeah he needs to do more. Carpenter was gotten before it was scene that Ellis would work out and Burnett would be healthy. So 20-20 hindsight is always clear.

Get off of it about carpenter. I already made the point of why he was picked. If you want any credibility move on.

Man, I called it the day of the draft. When we started drafting backup DL in the 3rd round and Special Teams in the 4th, I knew we blew it ... yet, I should pull out the number of PM's calling me an a-hole for disapproving.

Let's see ... going into the draft, our main issues were:

- OT
- QB
- depth at WR

Yet, we ignore all those positions and go for a LB who can't get on the field and a TE who can't block or catch. I don't get it. Were those guys really the BPA??? We had no other choice?

Aren't first rounders supposed to start or at least contribute? Oh yeah, I fugget ... we're so stacked at LB that we don't need him. Great analysis.

So what's up with our vaunted 2 TE single RB attack??? I bet JJones could have used a lead blocker last night.

How about a true FB??? Not a converted LB or a jack of all trades guy? How about a freakin' guy who can do ONE thing ... lead block for the RB ???

I won't get started on the QB. But did Parcells really think Bledsoe was our answer??? History has repeated itself numerous times this year ... and cost us the division. Now we're stuck with a guy who was on the PS two years ago.

I'm not worried. It's only football.

:bang2:

It certainly seems that a trade of our first 2 choices to get Leinhart or Cutler should have been the move huh?

Knee jerks are just jerks. carpenter was chosen thinking that maybe Ellis does not work out and Burnett might not come back from Injury. At that point we have Ware, James and Akin as proven LBs. 3 when you need 4 JUST TO START. I do not know why that is so hard to figure out.

For 6 games he has been a bust - this year he has been a bust as a first-round pick. Maybe later this year or a few years from now he won't be, but right now he isn't helping the Cowboys and their 3-3 record.
