Yeah I was surprised by the small number of DB's they brought in.

I like Alexander. A bit more than Fuller. Howard from Baylor is still there as well. I wouldn't be upset at CB at 34.

I also like Vonn Bell but 34 might be too rich for that.

I like Russell and Will Redmond as possible starters after a year of grooming. but I think Alexander and Fuller could contribute this year.

Josh Norman was taken in the fifth round. I think our Josh Norman is someone more along the lines of KeiVarae Russel or someone else perhaps available in the 3rd or 4th. There is too much DL talent on the board right now to reach for a DB.

Did we visit with Russell?

The guy has his issues but before getting suspended for a season at ND, there was talk he was a 2nd round, maybe even develop into 1st round guy. The season off derailed him. Uber athletic, has his flaws, but as a late round guy? Sign me up every time.

I have questions about his zone ability, as he seems to get lost in space. As a man-to-man guy though, he's very tough and aggressive and looks more natural. I think he's a superior corner to Apple.

If we want to get back to zone however, Fuller would seem to be the natural pick. His instincts in zone are absolutely top notch. I think he's going to be a thief and ball-hawk.
