I watched this game live in India back in the day at 3AM. They couldn’t show the commercials so we got an unedited Madden and Sumrall when commercial breaks were on and it was hilarious.

That's what's so frustrating about this current drought. My son's (oldest born in 2000) are Cowboys fans....but very casual Cowboys fans. I remember when they were young they were rabid like me...but as time went on it started to change...they will tell you they are Cowboys fans, but if they missed a game no biggie...if we win great..if we lose...oh well. Playoffs not excited but will watch and be happy if they win...if they lose move on to the next thing and completely forgot about the game within minutes of it being over.

I remembered when it turned, 2015 season. The year we lost Romo for the year. I had bought tickets to the Seattle game before he was injured. I knew that would be our year and waa pumping it up to my son's. Then Romo was injured. Seattle win the game...getting heckled by Seattle fans in the parking lot...in the airport. It started to change after that...each year after they became more nonchalant...It really sucks. I always imagined the Dallas Cowboys would be something both me and my boys would bond over and special memories.
