Our MNF Game: Murray vs. Brissett

Heard this being discussed. Jacoby Brissett has run the Cardinal offense better than Murray. Under Brissett, they score 5 more ppg, 3rd down pct. went from 39% to 57%, yards per game up by 20, and time of possession also increased. I'm not saying that Brissett is better than Murray, but their offense has been better with Brissett.

Murray turns into Mahomes when he plays us though. Hopefully, Eberstank has a plan that can contain Murray just enough to allow our offense to enjoy the fruits of their labors. Or maybe we are dodging a bullet here.

He should have some rust so I expect him to use his legs more until he's comfortable passing......which will most probably be midway through the 1st quarter, lol.

I'd rather play Murray. His agility was always his strength but he's hobbled. Brissett can air it out much better. Might have been a shootout with Brissett playing. Their running game stinks, their defense isn't great. Murray has never struck me as that leader that can will the team back into contention, season already looks over. Must win game for Cowboys, they're not out of it yet. Advantage Cowboys. Return of Dak and the high flying offense if everyone stays healthy and no crazy turnovers. Playing sound football seems like it should be enough for the Win.

At this point I could be the starting QB against Dallas. All I have to do is throw it as hard as I can to the any of the wide open receivers with 10 yard cushions in all directions. They'll adjust and catch my dead duck pass before any Cowboys defender even appears on the TV screen.

If you trust Adam Schefter, he is suggesting there's a decent chance that its Brissett. He has been getting first team reps and Murray was listed on Friday as limited in practice.

In light of the recent situation in Baltimore and the hefty fine they got for not being totally truthful with Lamar Jackson's injury designation, I doubt this is gamesmanship by Arizona.
