Our Momentum was killed because of one play

Typo but thanks for pointing that out.lol. jeezus.;lol
Are you absolutely SURE that it's a typo? Because I can change that for ya if you want. :)

Garrett killed our momentum by going empty on 1st and 10 after MBIII had like a 15 yard run on that first drive. He had a chance to set the tone for the whole game, and tried to get cute. Look what happened...

The refs terrible hands to the face call on jenkins.

Did they ever show a replay from the front?

From the back -- the replay they showed after the play -- you couldn't tell where Jenkins' right hand was.

It might have been a bad call, or it might just have been a dumb play by Jenkins. And an extremely costly one.

It was a good call....and a stupid play by Jenkins.

There was lots of stupidity going around the team yesterday.

When it comes to penalties, this team is so sloppy, it's pathetic. It's getting to the point that whenever we make a good play on either O or D, I'm looking for a flag. Its' unbelievably frustrating.

IT looked like Jenkins had his hands too high and Driver made a heads up play and went a little into Jenkins hands.

No, they didn't show a reverse or front angle. We see Jenkins making contact with the guy, but we can't see exactly where. The ref was right there, so maybe he had a better angle. And there's no guarantee that we score had we been awarded the ball.

supposed to be "one"
Why cant u change the thread titles on this board?

Its been the case time and time with this team. A bad call like that and they have a tremendously hard time recovering on that drive. Witness, bogus offsides call against Ware in the 2007 playoffs=Giants TD later in the drive. :(

Sure thing. There ya go.

Do you want me to change that 'u' to 'you'?

I kid. I kid. :)

It was clear as day on my TV. Seems to be a lot of suck arse TV's running around.

Not in my book, because the snapshot they showed where his knee was down, McBriars hand was in front of the ball. I don't see how you can prove that he was touching the ball at the point where his knee was down. His hand was blocking the view. Show me the view where you can see both his knee on the ground AND McBriar touching the ball. I didn't see it, not from the one they showed on TV. The ruling on the field was a fumble. I need to see that McBriar's hand was ON the ball (not in front of the ball) when his knee was down. From my recollection, that knee was on the way up, so they would need to prove that.

I think alot of plays killed our momentum and not just bad refs calls. The one that kicked the whole thing off to me was Roy11 fumble.

You're right. From that angle, we have no way of knowing if McBriar made contact with the returner or the ball when his knee was down.

Conversely, the return man's knee is definitely off the ground when the ball is coming loose.

This was "inconclusive video evidence" at best, which means we should have kept the ball.

The first picture is the only one that matters. The knee is down and McBriar makes contact. Play is dead. If you think the fact that he is touching him in the first pic is "inconclusive" then you're blind.

Nope. Based on that angle alone, you have no definitive proof that he made contact yet. What was needed was a side angle. Absent that, Dallas keeps the ball.

yep, in the second photo, while his other knee is down, the ball is already coming out. Thanks for showing it. I was watching in my hotel room, NOT in HD, and no tivo, so, it could have been different for someone else. But it looks like I could be right on this.

I agree with bbgun, if that first picture is your conclusive evidence, you must be watching it in 3-D. Because there's NO WAY and can prove he was touching the ball.

That was good; you definitely got me on that one! I will say this, however, no matter how the call is debated, there is no debating the Colts had to come back from down 17 twice, the last being in the fourth with 14 minutes left. I just cannot stomach that team, so I get a bit emotional with everything.
