Would have to be yours truly #13 Overshown. He's making a name for himself, it's too early to anoint him, but I speak for everyone when I say he's given us something to be happy about. Please give your thoughts on your most exciting player thus far. #2 Might be Kendricks for me, if we didn't have him, we wouldn't have that physical tackling LB on this defense. Is the defense great, no,but he's been another person that's stood out for me

I am generating my thoughts ..... Overshown is the obvious stand out player for the new players. Yes, he is a new player since he was on IR all last season.

Did the Steelers even throw Diggs' was Sunday night?
Turpin has been mentioned, and he has got more time and has shown up.

But still Overshown stands out more than others.

I really like Overshown but we have to tap the brakes. The ceiling is clearly through the roof, but the physical traits are still way ahead of the actual production on field so far.

Yeah Diggs got target on 3rd and short and they converted. I roasted him. He always gives up short conversions targets at him. And they definitely ran at him a couple of times

Sleeper pick here, and 'exciting' may not be the right contest for him, but Zach Martin is back from the dead and looking closer to all pro than about to retire. The last few weeks he's been really good.

How about Cooper Beebe. Exceeded expectations so far?
I wouldn’t call a center exciting. Expectations were high for Beebe as soon as we drafted him. I wouldn’t say he’s exceeded expectations, but he’s looked solid.

I'm not trying to be a Dak homer. Just going by statistics and results on the field...

The most exciting player so far after 5 games in 2024, I would have to say is Dak.

With a young halfway rebuilt Oline that is struggling some to gel, no running attack for 4 out of the 5 first games, only 1 legit weapon at WR and a halfway suspect defense half of the time, Dak has literally carried the offense for all 3 wins during this 3-2 record so far with almost a comeback win during 1 of those 2 losses. Yes, Dak has committed some bone-headed costly mistakes, but he has literally carried this offense. Dak is 2nd overall in 2024 throughout the NFL in passing yards (1,424) and his offense is 3rd overall in passing yards average/game (284.8). Surprising with such limitations on offense and defense.

Dak is on pace to throw for 4,800+ yards this season, and he's also on pace to become the Dallas Cowboys franchise passing leader by the end of this 2024 season. Dak only needs 8 more games to surpass Troy Aikman as the 2nd highest franchise passing leader and the remaining 12 games to surpass Tony Romo as the Dallas Cowboys franchise passing yards leader. Amazing considering the lack of talent/weapons currently on this team.
