, the fullback on offenseWould have to be yours truly #13 Overshown. He's making a name for himself, it's too early to anoint him, but I speak for everyone when I say he's given us something to be happy about. Please give your thoughts on your most exciting player thus far. #2 Might be Kendricks for me, if we didn't have him, we wouldn't have that physical tackling LB on this defense. Is the defense great, no,but he's been another person that's stood out for me
It is exciting to have a good qb. It should pay dividends as the season goes on.I'm not trying to be a Dak homer. Just going by statistics and results on the field...
The most exciting player so far after 5 games in 2024, I would have to say is Dak.
With a young halfway rebuilt Oline that is struggling some to gel, no running attack for 4 out of the 5 first games, only 1 legit weapon at WR and a halfway suspect defense half of the time, Dak has literally carried the offense for all 3 wins during this 3-2 record so far with almost a comeback win during 1 of those 2 losses. Yes, Dak has committed some bone-headed costly mistakes, but he has literally carried this offense. Dak is 2nd overall in 2024 throughout the NFL in passing yards (1,424) and his offense is 3rd overall in passing yards average/game (284.8). Surprising with such limitations on offense and defense.

Dak is on pace to throw for 4,800+ yards this season, and he's also on pace to become the Dallas Cowboys franchise passing leader by the end of this 2024 season. Dak only needs 8 more games to surpass Troy Aikman as the 2nd highest franchise passing leader and the remaining 12 games to surpass Tony Romo as the Dallas Cowboys franchise passing yards leader. Amazing considering the lack of talent/weapons currently on this team.

I have been eating crow every day since camp when I called him a soft, UT-Austin player.Overshown has been delightful to watch.
Excitement has been super limited tbh despite 3-2. I'd say Tolbert's progression is the only thing that stands out as excitement.Would have to be yours truly #13 Overshown. Overshown I'd the name that immediately comes to mind. Dude just flies to the ball violently, with no fear or hesitation. Needs another year or two in the weight room, but he's already a difference maker, and has lots of room to improve.Would have to be yours truly #13 Overshown.
