Please don't give me the line, we don't need a true #1.....yeah yeah, teams can get by without one, umm but they have a HOF QB.....While releasing Dez struck a nerve as a fan of his, my attention now is who are we getting to replace him??? Hurns is not a #1, drafting Ridley or whomever at this point is uncertain and a waste in my opinion when you had a guy (bryant) already.... While many are quick to dismiss Dez, I say be carefule of what u wish for....

Dez couldn't get separation. And had no downfield speed. Oh ya, and no route tree. We can find a wr in the draft that can somewhat do better than Dez. It's on Dak to find him.

I simply see it at this point as strange timing for the release with no replacement in sight....Ridley only certain #1 guy who more than likely off the board....DJ Moore, Sutton, Kirk and the rest are projects....Hurns, Twill and Beasley is not what I would be throwing out there....

With Dez gone everyone moved up. Hurns and Twill are 1 and 2 currently. Certainly don’t see that as an upgrade over last season. I expect WR to be high on our list in the draft, especially with Twill and Beasley’s contracts up after the 2018 season.

no replacement and you're right, Ridley won't be around at 19 and it wouldn't matter anyway as it will take more than a few months to become a #1 WR.
The boys do this all the time with big names, go back to D. Sanders, K. Norton, E. smith, D. Ware

This team hasn't had a #1 WR in 3 years.
