Olindo Mare. Dolphins, for whatever reason, don't seem crazy about keeping him. He's still under contract but if the fins go after vanderjerk, as is rumored, Mare is out. Mare had one of his best seasons last year and excels at kickoffs.
Would be considerably less money than Vinateri and can kickoff unlike Vanderjerk.
We're running out of options here....

Mare is still a Dolphin and there is some dispute over the stories that say the fins want him to take a pay cut.

I'd rather give the Seahawks our 7th round pick and sign Josh Brown to a relatively long term deal. He's got a strong, accuracte leg and bringing him down here from Seattle could only help his kicking.

there's an idea that is gaining steam at least on this board. This isn't possible unless Seattle matches the Hutchinson deal -- then they will have no way to match anything we throw there way on this contract
