If anything, with four turnovers, New England tried to gift the game to the Cowboys, who simply weren't good enough to take full advantage.
That's why I'm a little baffled that anyone would find solace in the fact that the game was tightly contested. Teams with -2 turnover differentials don't often win. The odds favored the Cowboys, and they still lost.
It's a testament to the disparity between the two teams and their respective organizations.
