He had one and walked away from it because he doesn’t want to be a “college HC”.
Sometimes a change of scenery is good. Maybe he sticks as a OC maybe he becomes a HC again. He’s got a sweet gig now though as his team will always have the talent advantage.

BB is nonsensical . You need a young OC to come in here and completely take over as HC and rewrite to playbook . And then while he’s doing that get a young DC that can get 3 and outs and attack the opposition .
Right you are, govnor, right you are.
Unless I am missing something Belichick would be loathe to take over a Cowboys team that will likely go 6-11 for the next 3 years at least, even without injuries.

No one will coach the Cowturds, the hype of being the HC for the Cowboys has worn off a long time ago.
No one of any substance is going to want to play second fiddle to that old fart.

So you’re going to get a coach that will be on his way down and will want to answer to Jerry in his final years.
Or someone with no experience who wants to make a name for himself… Kellen Moore

Moore has enough experience with the Cowboys organization to know better than to think it’s a good place to start a head coaching career. The hype “has worn off a long time ago” is very true. It’s particularly true for those familiar with the Cowboys.
