Our O line backups?

I have not seen anywhere where ANYONE has really gotten any details about the backups and how they did. This was the first time that they all played together so not much as a unit could be expected but individual performances could be looked at. I think it is clear that Proctor is a emergency backup only, but I would be very interested in how well McQ, Free and Berger did.

They got schooled in the 4th quarter Sunday......but I would not view that outing to be a true evaluation of their abilities..

They played most of the third qtr as well. I am hoping someone was looking closely. Like I said, since that was the first time they all played together not much could be expected as a UNIT.

Our backups will always be backups. Proctor is not Gurode's replacement, but nor is he expected to be.

McQ is not Flo's replacement also. So unless Free is ready to take over the spot, Flo will be back (with a possibly monster cap killing contract).

I'm no Bill Parcels but Procter sure is a fill in at about every positon on the line.... IMO that means the coaches think pretty well of him...Heck look at the starting OL. its highly rated amongst the NFL.
