Our Offense is basically a scramble drill?

It seems at times our best play is when there's no one open at the start of the play, Dak uses his legs, and someone engages in helping Dak to have a place to throw it to as he's scrambling. This can not be our best play, where are the plays where guys are open. The slant route appears to be one, the short routes to the TE seem to be easy. Maybe it's an effective play for many teams, but i'm not a fan of those teams. What can be done to have better success in our passing game. The scramble drill offense, if it makes you happy let me know. Please give your thoughts, if it doesn't, explain also!

If you watch several plays last week, there appeared to be NO one open, and i'm sure it was the case in previous games, because Dak did run around until someone finally got open

That's kind of like a busted play when you're buying more time. That's great for any team. Early on Tony Romo lived off of plays like that. But he was raw and probably needed that extra time. But if we see Dak doing it, it's most likely because he has no one to throw to.

It's all coaching and scheme. The offense improved a lot during the bye week. McCarthy finally stopped using the preseason playbook and the offense started playing like a NFL offense again. That was a good start.

I disagree. I think that's basically Philly's passing offense, but not Dallas.

Dak has made some really impressive throws from the pocket lately and it really is a timing thing. That timing just seems to be thrown off on the road, and motion is also utilized less (probably due to communication restraints also).
