Where are all those "terrible offensive line" threads now? Just thought I would ask.

Just wait. We'll have an all around bad game sometime and all those threads will be back.

It's just so refreshing to see a QB that can recognize the blitz and get rid of it in a hurry. Man, I was grinning from ear to ear yesterday. Unreal.

The same place the 'Parcell's doesn't develop young QBS' threads.

The same place the 'Parcell's brings in too many of his players' threads.

The same place the 'Parcell's brings in too many LBers'(and TE) threads.

The same place the 'our WRs are too old' threads.

Hopefully, all this chicken little garb is gone for good, and everyone can lighten up and enjoy the building process. I have been, and it's been a hoot! Nothing more exciting than seeing it finally all come together.

Redemption is sweet.

I double that sentiment. However, I would like to hear BP in a press conference what teams have been doing recently against our rushing attack. Against the Colts it took until the 4th quarter to get rolling and against the Bucs we never really seemed to find the groove, although Barber had some good individual runs. I'm guessing teams, upon facing a "rookie" QB are playing more aggressively in the box to force him to throw deep balls. Now that Romo has shown he is quite adept at that maybe teams will back off of this and our running will pick up earlier in games.

I do think, looking towards next year, that Dallas will need to find a replacement for Marco Rivera. Maybe that is Cory Proctor, but I sure haven't seen him play.

Earlier this morning I posted that a month ago they sucked and now one of them belongs in the pro bowl. Thank you Mr. Romo!!!

Parcells did bring in too many of "his" players. Glenn and Ferguson are the only two that are worth a cup of warm spit and Dallas would have been better off in both the short and long term if guys link Young were never on the roster.

So Richie Anderson blew? One of the Glenn's is no good? Keyshawn was worthless?

Come on.

Overall much more good has come from BP's guys. Some just do not want to admit it. And Romo has to be considered a BP guy as well since BP jettisoned Henson and kept him. By the way spud, you are forgetting that Richie Anderson was a bp guy as well; so was BLedsoe who gave us a good year last year. There has only been a couple of duds like young. Sorry to rain on your parade of BS.

Some of us said that Drew Bledsoe was an "offensive line killer". Some believed and some didn't.

Last year Bledsoe played a lot better with a worse line. He hit the wall or whatever this season; shame since he was a quality QB and a good guy. But that is the way it is. Last years O line was putrid. Fact.

Obviously you missed Romo give props to Vinnie as a large part of his development.

I will say our running game is pretty much non existent until we got some yards in the last quarter. Sooner or later this team is gonna get burnt from lack of running the ball.

The OL is still having some problems but Romo has masked them.
Flo is still getting whipped by guys with speed.
Rivera is playing better but still not as good enough that we shouldn't replace him next year. (I personally would like to grab Steinbach or draft someone)
Colombo has continued to get better and better, I like him. He's not a PBer but he's solid enough to hold it down and should just get better and better.
Kosier is as expected, solid but not spectacular. Keeper.
Gurode is an animal. He has really come on this year. Could end up in the PB IMO.
I think Flo and Rivera are the most pressing issues on the OL. Hopefully McQ is the DUDE to replace Flo. If so then we still don't need to draft anyone with a first day pick. I would really like to see Rivera replaced with a FA.
The OL doesn't look so bad now with Romo back there but they still aren't where I'd like to see them.

It does seem like they are picking up the 7,8,9 man blitzes a little better...but then maybe again part of that is Romo .

Bledsoe wasn't even a quality QB... and he hasn't been since the first half of 2002.

I still say that last year he was a quality QB considering the OT's we had playing by the end of the year. Something happened to him- he seemed to lose it all at once. Even in pre season this year he was looking pretty good.

How's that working today? He had an absolute disaster in Dallas when he arrived. I think he's done a great job in his years here. We haven't seen a team this good in ten years. It was worth the wait, to me any way.

Our OL is still questionable and only survives cause we have a good QB with enough ability to avoid the rush and can read defenses like he was in their huddle while coach calling defensive scheme. Gurode, Kosier & Colombo are doing fine and probably will get better since all three are first year starters.

However Riveria (despite the vet leadership he provides) is barely adequate and that's being generous; Adams is inconsistent and we all know he has trouble with the speed pass rushers. My concern is that a really good team, say our SB opponent if we make it that far, will be able to take advantage of that to limit Romo's production by shutting down our much needed running game. Hopefully we've already got Adams and Riveria's replacement on the team (McQuistan & Proctor or maybe Truillo, Whitely and the new kid Leffew? we signed). But do hope/believe we will either add a significant OL starter in FA or draft some good OL players.
