The only chance we have to turn this thing around is to commit to the running game more. Give Zeke the ball about 25-30 times per game. Even if he is stopped early in the game, continue to give it to him.

Our first series today let me know we were going to lose. Zeke gets 5 yards on first down and we go to a spread offense on second down with Zeke on the bench. What happened to running two times in a row? He had over 120 yards on 16 carries. How different could this game have been if we would have kept feeding him?

Seattle beat us by running the ball, even though they were not that successful. That is the approach we need to take going forward to give us any chance of having a decent season.

I just don't believe a ball control offense is a recipe for success in the NFL of 2018.... not with all the overwhelming advantages afforded to the passing game with all the rules changes over the past decade... the Tom Brady Rule, the Aaron Rodgers Rule, the Defenseless WR rule, more aggressive calling of pass interference, etc, etc

In other words, I don't think giving Zeke 25-30 carries a game is going to help.

I diasagree. It helps the offensive line, defense, and helps open up the passing game. We had great success with in when we had Demarco Murray a few years ago and I think our defense is good enough to keep games close for this approach.

Teams load the box and let you run into a brick wall knowing your Qb has no desire to throw down field. Then they get the ball, score, and you’re ****ed.

In 2014 the team had 3 first team All-Pro calibre offensive line blocking for Murray, a HOF TE, a 1st team All-Pro WR (Dez), and a MVP calibre QB.

Its a far cry from today's players (other than Martin) at those positions.

Because Tony was a real threat.

The only hope is for Jerry to get rid of the Clapper and hire a real Head Coach.

Jason doesn’t know how to use the running game plus he is a lost cause anyway. This team may win next week then lose the week after next.

It’s not a process but it’s a pattern of awful coaching with average to below average players on offense. Plus the QB is not good.

It’s still early in the season but we lost to a bad team. There is no positive to this.

Must draft a QB next year.
