He was asked on 105.3 the fan if his optimism is the same it is every year. His response was unique.

I know 1+1=3 sounds crazy, but I get what he’s saying. He’s trying to get as much extra value out of anything/business he has. He constantly does this by talking it up. Adding value to it. He’s a showman.

What other owner can make Dak a top selling jersey?

Then other teams must be operating at 1 + 1= 5, because I don't see where he has taken risks and is operating without a net.

Sounds to me like he just admitted to spread it thin when it comes to personnel, probably didnt even realize he admitted it. Or maybe he thinks he is jesus feeding the masses with one loaf of bread??

That's Jerry's way of saying "yes".
Right

It’s basically what many of us have always said. He’s hyped up every season despite the reality going in.

It’s just reassuring to see him actually admit it in his way. Now if only the more casual fan would stop following his lead .

Not since he bought the team and Johnson turned it into the black. He did take the same risk Bright did with a franchise in the red in the books and fans turning away.

Johnson turned it and once he was gone it started to sag and three 5-11 seasons in a row actually put him in a no risk situation because he was perceived as a reckless risk taker since Johnson left. Parcells was the 2nd smartest decision he ever made because he knew he needed credibility and the perception that he could give control of the football operation to someone who knew it because Booger had already proven himself to be incompetent on the football side. Hiring Parcells also paved the way for him to request a higher loan from the NFL. They all, erroneously, thought he had learned his lesson, he was not a football man, he was a businessman. But he only faked it to get the one item that would make him bulletproof.

And he is not "our" owner, he is their owner. I ignore the head clown in his own circus in order to remain as much of a fan as I am today. He makes it a chore and I really do think I take too much joy at his ugly puss after a loss.

It isn't optimism; it is nothing more that overinflated ego.
