Our pass rush is putrid

I see some complaining about the secondary, who BTW picked off 4 passes, if you want to count a LB in coverage as secondary. As awful as they were save the picks. I have to think they would be better if the D-line would've ever gotten close to Manning. Maybe I'm wrong but I can't remember them even knocking him down after a pass much less getting pressure or getting a sack. Where's the pass rush? Was Ware or Spencer even out there? I put that on them as much as the secondary.

All in all glad they won though!

Maybe rushing more than 3 players for most of the game against an elite QB will make a difference.

It's pretty bad, definitely one of the worst in the NFL. That's what makes this game so weird. To beat Peyton, you usually have to get some pressure on him and force him to get happy feet in the pocket. Instead, he pretty much had a pocket all game long.

We really need to upgrade from Anthony Spencer. He's just not a capable pass rusher. In fact, I'm starting to want a pass rusher more than Patrick Peterson/Prince at this point with our first pick.

Eh...Manning gets that ball out most of the time. The pass rush did help with the two of the picks...those were "I have to throw it now" throws.

PP doesn't blitz like Wade. He blitzes much less and plays more zone and the turnovers are a result of that.
It isn't perfect by any means but there are holes all over the team that need filling so relax.

Gawd, typical myopic fandom, concerned with Stats than actual play. Ware was the only pass rush. Pasq played a Vanilla D, emphasizing coverage over pressure. Ware got pressure and almost had couple sacks, its just there was no other one providing any pressure. On the other hand Freeney had Mathis providing pressure on the other side.

Its easy to block Ware, if he is the only one that they need to be concerned about, much like when Freeney did nothing when double teemed. Its when, when he had one on one, he created havock.

Ware is sooo bloody overrated it's not funny...if he had half Freeney's motor he would have two sacks a game. I'm not even gonna start with Spencer, he just flat out sucks...can't understand what's happend to both of them.

Well, considering that the Colts on average allow Manning to be sacked about 12 times a year, I'd say it would've been stupid to expect us to go in there and run up a bunch of sacks.

Also, do you really think there was no pressure on him? You think those 4 picks didn't happen because he had to throw the ball sooner than he wanted to? On Lee's 2nd pick, he most definitely got picked because Ware was in his face and he didn't see Jenkins being as close as he was.

Someone caught Peyton in the backfield and he handed it off as he hit the ground. Some one caught the back just as he got the ball for a loss.Good pressure at times.

Dude, try to watch the game. Its not that Cowboys don't have players. You cannot play 3 or 4 on line, with maybe one or two blitzes the whole game and expect a Pass Rush. Show me a team that gets consistent pass rush like that, and we can then agree that Cowboys have issue with lack of players.

If not you are just not watching the game for what it is. Pasqualoni gave up Pressure for coverage. He has been doing that since he took over. He is playing as vanilla as possible for Pass Rush. When you don't have more than one player winning one on one battle, you are not going to get much rush. ALthough Ware did still get some even with blatant holding ( heck even a face mask once).

Overrated or not he is the best guy on the Line...
