our pass-rush

how many sacks are we on pace for this year? c'mon stat guys

I think Dallas has notched 3 sacks in every game since week 3 after getting just one sack in week 1 and 2 sacks in week 2. They have 18 sacks now, and if the 3 sack per game trend continues until the end of the year, the Cowboys would have 45 sacks at season's end. In my opinion, Dallas will end the regular season with a sack total between 40 and 45.

For the sake of comparison, if the Cowboys had posted 45 sacks last season, they would've ranked fifth in the league. 40 sacks would've ranked them 8th in the league.

Regardless, any sack total between 40 and 45 would demonstrate a massive improvement over the past decade.

I hope Eagles start Winston Justice when we play them. Ware coming off the bye with fresh legs would abuse him like he got abused by Osi.

Another thing to note...if Tank is ready to go for the Giants game he could add an extra push in the middle. If he can, many of those "almost" sacks we've seen this year will actually go on the stat sheet.

Dallas needs to return a healthy Anthony Henry - at which point "coverage" induced sacks will influence a severe ramp-up in that department.

Dallas is lickin' their chops at the prospect of of a fairly healthy secondary.

There should also be more coverage sacks with both corners getting healthy.

The combination of Henry and healthy has been an oxymoron in Dallas

And that's the biggest issue with Henry. He plays aggressively and gets those interceptions, but he just can't stay healthy and it's unfortunate. I really do believe he will make an EXCELLENT free safety though. Draft a corner and move him to FS next to Roy and I think we'll be in pretty good shape back there.

Then again, if he gets injured...

In "Roget's"... "Henry" is the antonym for "healthy"...

see "groin-pull" for the synonym.

figure the eagirls will be helping out Justice big time- so Ellis might be having some fun. And a little push in the middle could really make a difference.

Henry runs a 4.52...on a good day.

31 year old, $25 Million FA, who can't stay healthy.....

If anything...we need help at Nick/Dime.

I doubt that. After the giants debacle they'll be sending the national guard over to help him out. I'll be surprised if they leave him one on one with Ware even ONE time , unless they're running a screen to that side.
