Our Problem: Hubris

You just now figure that out?
No that was a clarification to my title. Meaning the title should have been "Front Office' Problem: Hubris"

It's not a new idea but so many people go toward coaching as the main issue which is true. But "Coaching" can be broken down into many pieces.

It's not that Coach <insert target> doesn't know HOW to coach. They have had success before, its more of Hubris in my opinion... That is why I believe they refuse to deviate from the game plan often until its too late...

i.e. Zone read not using until Qtr 4...

The methodology needs to change from Player X must execute for this team to succeed... TO We must adjust our game plan to fit the strengths of our team &\or what the current opponent is giving us or weak on...

Example: Jason Garrett vs Pete Carroll coaching the Seahawks

Wilson was sacked 6 times per game...

Jason Garrett: Russel is capable winning those first two games, our O Line needs to block better...
Adjustment: None, expect OL to execute as they are capable of holding off the Dallas pass rush and Russel Wilson is mobile.

Pete Carroll: Russel to have the most success needs to limit his 7 step drops against that pass rush.
Adjustment: Reduce 7 step drops and stick to 3 - 5 step drops and limit amount of time Dal pass rush has to get to Wilson.

wonder if the stadium will be full sunday
don't know if I can watch much more of what I have been seeing the first three weeks

It will be full, you can count on that. Though quite a few in attendance will be there for reasons other than the game.

Many go for the experience and have no idea how bad the team is performing, and couldn't tell you if it was week 2 or 14. Others go to socialize and won't watch 2 minutes of the game. The field level suites, for instance, or the cocaine and boob job section as I like to call it.

Then there's the party pass section. People up there are mostly there to drink and socialize, and few will be keeping up with the game. Unless you get a table along the rail the most you will see is one end of the giant TV screen, so the rest of the crowd there is normally just getting drunk.

Whatever the reason, the seats are always full, which gives Jerry the impression that he's actually doing something right

Our issue is we dont play to our strength nor do we attack an oponents weakness

Our stength is running the football. You have to commit to it even you only gain 6 yards on 4 carries.

I fully expect us not to attack detroit with the run which is their weakness
