Our QB has fallen

and can't get up

DAK is not a pocket passer.

And his running which is more dangerous than his throwing..

has been removed from the offense.

Why?

Linehan keeps DAK in the pocket and anybody can see he wants to run but he stops and instead tries to make a big play downfield.

With little success.

Witten covered for DAK as the late throw but he is gone.

Dez was not an answer.

And everybody knew we desperately needed a WR and TE in the draft but we draft a LBer instead and wait until the 3rd and 4th Rd to take a TE and WR.

This just blew most of our minds in the off-season.

How could the team allow that much vital production be lost and replace it with such mediocre players.

This shift to making the offense Zeke Friendly is making us non-competitive on offense.

Every team knows you stop Zeke..

we lose.

DAK is going to be rudely surprised when the Cowboys draft a new QB im 2019 and he is not handed the starting job.

DAK needs to be careful about buying Real Estate in Dallas

That big contract he thinks he is getting?

Ain't going to happen.

Zeke will get the big contract.

DAK will be gone I hope.
If anyone is stopping that it's Stephen Jones who said publically that he thought Dak should be a pocket passer despite Jerry saying the opposite.

Cowboys fans are going to be just as surprised when they look exactly the same if not worse than Dak ala preseason. Dak being benched may be the best thing for his career because they can't blame him.

That's probably true, our other QB's won't be any better than Dak, but if Dak continues down this road then they at least deserve the same chance that was given to Dak, at least that is my opinion. Dak being benched will be the end of his career as a starter in the NFL

We have the only QB in the league that can throw 40 passes and be no where near 200 yards. Time for a change not only at coaching but there also.

why wait to draft a qb, open up the competition now. If the 2 inexperienced QBs can beat him out in practice give them a shot. What do we have to lose, another game

isn't this the wr the coaches and front office picked to be on this team this year or did someone else do that

I been saying the same crap since game one of his rookie season. If you watched him in college you could not expect him to suddenly grow talent
To be fair players can shatter the confines of a scouting report if they so choose. Physical stuff can be fixed but the mental shortcomings can be hard to overcome.

I want the QB from Oregon, Justin Herbert... Along with a new Head Coach.

Not sure how much more of this offense I can take. Play after play we run RPO shot gun stuff but the QB dos not ever run with it. End result is Zeke gets the ball from a predictable spot without a running start after the defense has already closed in on him. Simply pathetic.

All of these points and items existed at the end of last season. No change in Dak and no change in the scheme. Dak-friendly means nothing.
Dak-Friendly means...
Run Zeke on first down 85% of the time.
Throwing come backs and button hooks 85% of the time.

This offense is in 2nd and long most of the time. We rarely do play action on 1st down. If the defense is set to stop the run on first down, play action on first down should result in a big play on first down until the defense backs off the line on first down. How hard would it be to execute this simple strategy?

Oh please.

You don't like my train?

It's rolling over us as we speak.

Look..

isn't that Jerrah as the engineer and Stephen playing Brinksman?

I believe it is.
Even JG looked good as a QB when he had open weapons and top talent to pass to.

Give Dak some legit receiving weapons.

Not much really.

Either our QB is having problems reading the coverages..

or the receivers are.

Of course lately,

DAK is overthrowing..

throwing it wide

or throwing it in the ground.

Hmmmm...
