We already know Romo's 102.5 is the highest passer rating ever for a team that didn't either have a winning record or make the playoffs. Here are a couple of other records, and one near-record:
The 4 rushing TD by running backs is an all-time low, breaking the 51-year old record of 5, set in the franchise's inaugural season of 1960, and tied in 2001. The 4 total TD by Dallas RB is also a team record low. For the first time ever, no Dallas RB had a receiving TD or a 30+ yard reception.
Also, our defense came within 22 yards of the all-time high for passing yards allowed in a season, with 3,906 yards. That's the highest total allowed in 28 seasons. The 1983 team allowed 3,928 yards (but "Thurman's Thieves" also had 27 INT).
