Not even talking about if we play more steady football and execute better...
When we get all of our running backs healthy and on the field again, the difference that will make is just huge...
Hopefully our offensive line is also healthy after the bye.
There are 32 teams in the NFL, thus 32 starting running backs. Following?
Amongst the top 32 running backs in the nfl...
Tashard Choice is ranked 11th in yards per attempt.
Marion Barber is ranked 10th in yards per attempt, and he's been playing with that quad.
Felix Jones doesn't qualify for a ranking, but he has 10.1 yards per attempt. Which brings me to my next stat cat.
Amongst the top 32 running backs....
Marion Barber is 15th overall in rushing yards
Tashard Choice is tied for 27th
Felix Jones is tied for 30th 21 carries (1 games worth of carries, and he is in the top 32 running backs... over a 5 game period).
Marion Barber is almost certainly going to the pro bowl this year if he keeps playing as he is (I mean when he is healthy).
7th in the NFC in yards (4 hb above him have fewer touchdowns)
4th in Y/A (2 above him have fewer yards)
