Schedule is not that brutal. Some of these teams like Lions and Seahawks are middle of the pack teams. Also have to account for injuries and teams not be as good as they were predicted to be before the season starts. It's a long season and things happen throughout the course of it.

Our schedule is brutal

.......from our opponent's perspective

Any team, that is truly the best, is afraid of no one. The way our opponents regard the Cowboys defense is the same way an opponent defensive tackle would regard Larry Allen in his prime. No kidding, some would fake injuries.

Can the Cowboys weather the storm?
My friends, they are the storm.

They might be scared having to face this defense, but no one is scared of the Dallas QB. The way the offense is going right now the rookie kicker could end up leading the team in points scored. Gotta get the ball in the endzone more.
Oh, go root for your boy Romo.

During the preseason I watched a lot of NFL analysts predicting all the team's final records for this season. Many of them would break it down game by game for a team.

You know, "this is a win", "this is a loss".....

Anyway, more than one of them predicted that the Cowboys would lose their first two games. However, I don't remember too many that predicted they would win them.

This schedule is looking easier by the week.

A number of teams in the AFC have tougher schedules than ours. Do admit: ours ain't easy.

To be the best: beat the best.

And people say this like we the #1 seed every year. So how exactly are we regular season winners lol.
12-5 is a wonderful thing to behold, it gives us fans a really nice experience for 4 straight months leading into January. That's a lot of fun, and I don't want to be ungrateful for it. There are a whole lot of fans of other teams out there that wish they had this problem.

But yeah, I feel ya'. The Cowboys need another ring. Period.

frankly the only team i am worried about is the 9ers,Dak turns into a pumpkin ever time we play them.hopefully the new offense will limit mistakes and he relies on our D to win the game.

Can't win if you kick FG after FG after FG after FG and it's pretty evident your coach doesn't trust the offense in the REDZONE and for good reason, I might add.
That *MIGHT* be the dumbest thing I have ever seen on this forum, and that is saying a LOT.

No coach in the NFL will go for it on fourth down, in the red zone, in a game that they are winning by 2 scores, when they have a healthy kicker. None. Zero.

Maybe in college, where "style points" matter...

The schedule overall is tough, but December is ridiculous.

Philly, @Buffalo, @Miami right before Christmas is brutal, and that's sandwiched between Seattle and Detroit.

It's pretty much as tough of a 5-game stretch as you can get.

It is very clear to me---and was to some of the commentators who offered high praise to McCarthy---that he has a much different view of the offense than did Moore. I'm happy. No, we do NOT have a bunch of big plays, but so far, don't have a bunch of turnovers. Our TE dropped on TD. Other times, I'm perfectly happy running it and taking the TD rather than risk an endzone INT. Right now, if the O scores 11 points, we'd win :) Joking, but I do think that with this D, barring a turnoverfest, 21 ppg will win with this D.

And another thing: as ALL the commentators (including Romo) noted, MM is getting plays in so quickly that a) the O has time to really study the D, and b) no stupid delay of game penalties. Not sure what the stats were but it SEEMED that we had a drastic decline in penalties, and yes, probably one of the two RTP penalties against the Jets was out of line.

Things change too much week to week to worry about anyone else than arizona. Focus on staying healthy and keeping the defense fresh/ rested as much as possible. Come playoff time it's all systems go for these boys.

The season is over then but as Herman Edwards would say "that's why you play the game."
