Coach Mac

Before the Season Started --- "Man... we did better than Philly against the 49ers. But they still have our number. All we have to do is not turn the ball over, go for easy FGs, and let the defense do their thing now that we can stop the run!"

The Reality Today -- Cowboys still can't stop the run. Run game is not working as well as expected. Offensive limitations are worse than expected. Cowboys are dead in the water when facing a team that doesn't flinch on their defense and gets the lead early.

Jerry Jones

Before the Season Started --- "Dak is my boy, he can lead us to the promised land! We'll change the offense for him. We still miss Coop but dag nabbit, I'm not forking out $25 million, I'll sign Brandon Cooks, he still has two O's in his name. Look at how much money I'll save cutting Zeke and talkin' Tyrronne into a restructure.... and I'm gonna get that midget Deuce to spell Tony because he's part of the Cowboys family."

The Reality Today -- Probably need to rebuild at QB, no offense is going to work. You still need to spend big on receivers if you don't find any great ones in the draft. Small RBs can't carry the load. Healthy offensive linemen matter.

Dak Prescott

Before the Season Started - "I just want to win a Super Bowl damnit."

The Reality Today - Still can't win a Super Bowl. Wondering how much longer he'll be a Dallas Cowboy.

Micah Parsons

Micah Parsons

Before the Season Started - "I wonder what it would be like to have my own podcast."

The Reality Today - Checking how many likes his podcast gets and tweeting haters.

Feel free to add your own captions.

Just a little humor to get over the rough times.

But it's still the root of the problems. We can debate all day, but if Cowboys can't solve:

-- Offensive and Dak Limitations
-- Improve running game and keep healthy offensive linemen
-- Defense stop the run and get the Hollywood overrated mentality out of there
-- Be a team that can still hang in game when behind

Going to end up like last year again at best.

This fanbase is so dramatic. Every time Dallas faces any adversity it's the end of the world.

It doesn't matter if Dallas wins, because when they lose it's the "worst organization, worst coaching, horrible players, blow it up".

The term "Overreaction Monday" fits perfectly for this fanbase.

I think Dallas will win on Monday making them 4-2. When I did my predictions before the season started I had Dallas 4-2 going into the bye. Dallas is exactly where they should be. The sky is not falling.

Yes and no. Humiliating loss against the best team in the NFL does not mean the season is over. And still have a great shot at a winning record, for sure. But it does mean the Playoffs will end same as usual which is where most longtime fans want to see something different. And I also would put some small odds on the team collapsing just based on some player and coach reactions in the media, and what happened in Green Bay when Coach Mac took over the offense. Next week definitely goes a long way to showing what this team is made of. Not sure I want to be around this forum though if we lose big again.

So another Dak and team hate on thread. I am as disappointed as the next fans the way they lost to SF. And the way Dak has played this year and even last year.

But all these "FRUSTRATION" threads are out of control.
But have at it, that is why you are here.

Just don't turn it into another 98% Dak thread. Plenty of other threads for that.

I think some people miss the point in that fan frustration is from feeling this team has no shot again to avoid another Wild Card or Divisional Round exit…. for almost the 30th year in a row. So it may seem like overreaction to one game, but there’s a lot more on people’s minds.

It amazes me that, for some reason some fans forget this. It's been 28 years and signs are the Cowboys aren't getting any closer this year.

Ya gotta pass the post positivity through the filter of many prominent Cowboy Zone posters here before hitting send.
Opinions will be regulated.
